nemo ne s'ouvre plus depuis maj de 18.4 à 20.4.2

Hello hello...après avoir réalisé qu'ubuntu 18.4 n’était plus mis à jour ce qui me créait des soucis avec différents programme j'ai mis à jour avant hier sur ubuntu 20.4.2

Sur 18.4 j'avais installé nemo  avec sudo apt get sans les dépendances mint , hier nemo fonctionnait plus ou moins et depuis aujourd'hui , plus du tout. Il ne s'ouvre ni depuis l'icone du dock ni depuis mes apps.

Quelle commande commande pour vérifier ce qui pourrait clocher et y remédier?

J'ai fait  une udpate générale dont voici le retour -

Malgré mes recherches, je ne comprends pas  cequ'est CNF, il me semble avoir comrpis que c'est lié à la sécurité (peut-être aussi pour ca que firefox peine à ouvrir le https depuis peu ?!)  , et pourquoi elle serait spécifiée plusieurs fois ---et si cela pourrait avoir un lien avec mon souci

j'ai lancé la commande suivante pour confirmer que nemo est bien mon gestionnaire par défaut (meme si nautilus s'ouvre encore pour certaines actions, mais j'avais déjà ce problème terriblement frustrant sur 18.4)

 xdg-mime query default inode/directory
nemo.desktop

J'ai fait un nettoyage qui me retourne 

sudo apt autoclean

Même après un sudo apt autoremove j'ai toujours ce CNF spécifié plusieurs fois ... roll

En cherchant sur le forum j'ai trouvé ce topic qui date un peu mais qui pointe un souci potentiel avec le lanceur ? soit possiblement un fichier à éditer ??

Je suis aussi tombée sur ce topic qui me fait comprendre que j'aurais peut-être mieux fait de faire une install de zéro plutôt que de passer de 18.4 à20.4 certains composants de bionic n'ayant peut-être pas été mis à jour vers focal ??
Peut-être que mon problème de nemo est lié au changement de bionic vers focal et que ce tuto me serait t'il utile ? - même si je ne suis pas très à l'aise avec l'idée de rendre mon pc temporairement inutilisable en cas d'erreur de ma part smile

Aussi je ne retrouve pas le ppa de nemo dans mes mise à jour...

Donne le retour de :

Nautilus est développé pour GNOME, Nemo est développé pour CInnamon (le bureau de Linux Mint). Même si tu peux globalement changer le gestionnaire de fichiers, c'est possible que ce soit Nautilus qui s'ouvre pour certaines actions sur GNOME sans possibilité de le changer. Ce sera toujours comme ça.

Il y aurait une commande pour passer tout ce qui et lié à bionic en focal ou ce serait "trop simple" wink ?

Oui, on peut changer facilement une chaîne de caractère par une autre dans un fichier mais dans ton cas, le problème va au-delà de ça, tu as des dépôts en double. Alors on va modifier le sources.list à la main :

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Supprime tout. Tu peux utiliser ctrl + K pour effacer des lignes entières. Puis colle ça à la place :

Enregistre avec ctrl + O, valide le nom de fichier avec entrée, ferme l'éditeur Nano avec ctrl + X.

D'autre part, tu as tout un tas de dépôts tiers, pour la plupart désactivés. Idéalement, il faudrait réduire leur nombre en privilégiant la version des logiciels qui est dans les dépôts Ubuntu, à moins d'avoir vraiment besoin d'une version plus récente. Les dépôts tiers nécessitent d'être gérés manuellement sur le long terme, moins on en utilise, moins il y a de boulot à faire.

Donc, là-dedans, qu'est-ce que tu as besoin de garder ?
- alexlarsson-ubuntu-flatpak-bionic.list : inutile, flatpak est dans les dépôts 20.04
- brave-browser-release.list : navigateur Brave
- home:MasterSoft24.list : aucune idée de ce que c'est, un truc qui s'appelle CloudCross apparemment
- mkusb-ubuntu-ppa-bionic.list : mkusb, aucune idée de ce que c'est
- musicbrainz-developers-ubuntu-stable-bionic.list : Picard ; pas vraiment utile, il est dans les dépôts 20.04
- nextcloud-devs-ubuntu-client-bionic.list / nextcloud-devs-ubuntu-client-focal.list : NextCloud
- openproject.list : aucune idée de ce que c'est
- skype-stable.list : Skype
- ubuntu-mozilla-daily-ubuntu-ppa-bionic.list / ubuntu-mozilla-security-ubuntu-ppa-bionic.list : Mozilla daily : je suppose que c'est Firefox ? Ce serait une bonne idée de s'en tenir à la version des dépôts Ubuntu
- webupd8team-ubuntu-nemo3-bionic.list / webupd8team-ubuntu-nemo-bionic.list : je suppose que c'est le dépôt que tu utilisais pour Nemo ? Il est complètement obsolète, la dernière branche est Artful (Ubuntu 17.10)

Brave et Skype ne sont pas dans les dépôts Ubuntu, donc les dépôts seraient à conserver si tu les utilises encore. Alternativement, il doit y avoir des versions snap/flatpak.
Pour le reste, je supprimerais les dépôts qui correspondent à des logiciels qui sont dans les dépôts Ubuntu. Pour les autres, à voir au cas pas cas s'ils sont encore utilisables en 20.04, donc dis-moi de quoi tu as besoin et s'il y a des softs que tu n'utilises plus là-dedans.

J'aime pas trop les paquets snap de la logithèque ubuntu... j'ai souvent des soucis notamment des droits manquants

Je n'utilise pas skype (c'est venu par défaut avec ubuntu sur mon ordi) et brave je l'utilise peu.

J'ai effectué les modifs des dépots selon ta guidance, mais je n'ai pas plus de succès avec nemo, il s'est ouvert une fois pour planter direct , et il ne s'ouvre de nouveau plus...

cloudcross ca me dit rien non plus...donc clairement pas quelque chose que j'utilise à priori

En tout cas Nexcloud, je ne le veux pas via la logithèque ubuntu smile

Tu utilises peu Brave mais quand même de temps en temps, il est à conserver ?
Qu'est-ce que tu entends pas NextCloud pas via la logithèque : tu n'utilises pas NextCloud ou tu veux utiliser un format spécifique ?

Concernant les snaps, il y a une option dans le Snap Store (la logithèque actuellement utilisée sur Ubuntu) pour gérer les permissions. C'est loin d'être parfait, je le précise au cas où tu ne le saches pas.

aussi, j'ai installé cinammon pour voir si nemo fonctionne mieux avec, du coup j'ai log out de ma session et login sous cinnamon et ça n'a pas résolu mon souci de lancement de nemo ....

Nextcloud c'est ce que j'utilise le plus smile   
Au départ je l'avais installé via la logithèque et j'ai eu que des galères ,à  la coopérative informatique ou je vais on m'a dit qu'effectivement c’était un souci de permission lié à l'installation via snap
Je savais pas pour les permissions via la logithèque, je vais tenter d'explorer cela

Idéalement, j'aimerais conserver brave

Ah, quand tu dis que tu ne veux pas NextCloud via la logithèque, tu parles de la version snap ? Je ne comprenais pas, parce que la logithèque gère à la fois le format deb (depuis les dépôts) et le format snap. Quand un logiciel est disponible aux deux formats, elle va proposer la version la plus récente, qui est généralement la snap, mais on peut choisir exactement ce qu'on veut via un menu.

Bref, on va faire du nettoyage :

cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d
sudo rm *.save *.distUpgrade alexlarsson-ubuntu-flatpak-bionic.list home\:MasterSoft24.list mkusb-ubuntu-ppa-bionic.list musicbrainz-developers-ubuntu-stable-bionic.list nextcloud-devs-ubuntu-client-bionic.list skype-stable.list ubuntu-mozilla-daily-ubuntu-ppa-bionic.list ubuntu-mozilla-security-ubuntu-ppa-bionic.list webupd8team-ubuntu-nemo3-bionic.list webupd8team-ubuntu-nemo-bionic.list

J'ai laissé le dépôt OpenProject, ne sachant pas ce que c'est : tu en as besoin ?

Ensuite, on va mettre à jour le fichiers du dépôt de Brave (celui de NextCloud est ok) :

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list

contenu :

deb [arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ stable main

Comme précédemment, enregistre avec ctrl + O, valide le nom avec entrée, ferme Nano avec ctrl + X.

J'attends ta réponse pour OpenProject avant de passer à la suite.

Pour brave, j'ai pas mis à jour car le dépôt était exactement celui que tu m'indiques de mettre smile

Effectivement : les commandes rm (suppression de fichier) ou rmdir (suppression de dossier) ne renvoient rien quand ça se déroule normalement, elles se contentent de supprimer ce qu'on leur demande. Quand le fichier/dossier n'existe pas, elles indiquent un message d'erreur le signalant. Donc, c'est bon : quand tu as lancé la commande une première fois, elle a supprimé les fichiers. Et la deuxième tentative t'a logiquement dit qu'ils n'existaient pas (plus).

Comment ça, le fichier de Brave était correct ? Dans ton retour en #3, on avait ça :

Le dièse au début indique que le dépôt est désactivé (la ligne est en commentaire). Il faut l'enlever comme dans la version que j'ai donnée (et éventuellement virer le " # désactivé pour la mise à niveau vers focal" à la fin mais c'est un détail).

Pour OpenProject, ça va être un tout petit peu plus compliqué. Édite le fichier :

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openproject.list

essaie de le corriger comme ça :

deb https://dl.packager.io/srv/deb/opf/openproject/stable/11/ubuntu 20.04 main

Je ne sais pas s'il y a effectivement une branche 20.04 ni si la version 11 est la dernière mais sans avoir accès aux informations du dépôt, je ne peux pas le vérifier. On va vite le savoir, de toute façon.

Recharge la liste des dépôts et donne-moi le retour :

sudo apt-get update

C'est peut-être une fausse piste, mais sait-on jamais… Regarde si ton dossier personnel (et en particulier les dossiers de configuration) contient des fichiers qui appartiennent à root (ce qui ne devrait pas être), donne :

find ~ -user root

D'abord la commande suivante pour réinstaller certains paquets à la version des dépôts Ubuntu :

Note que Firefox sera remis à jour en 87.x au lieu de la 88.x beta que tu utilises actuellement, il faudra probablement le relancer.

Ensuite, le retour de la commande suivante (c'est une simulation) :

Par contre ,je ne vois pas bien le lien avec mon problème de nemo qui ne se lance pas, parce que dans toutes ces commandes ,je ne vois quasi rien de lié à nemo

À la base, c'était surtout pour ton problème de dépôts en double dans ton sources.list (le premier retour dans ton message d'origine).
Deuxièmement, remettre le système au propre, dans l'hypothèse où le problème avec Nemo soit lié à un conflit de biblis, ce genre de choses.
Troisièmement, je pensais qu'il y avait peut-être un paquet Nemo obsolète venant du vieux PPA de WebUpd8 que tu utilisais mais ce n'est apparemment pas le cas.

Bref, tout ça n'a rien à voir directement avec Nemo, mais avec un système à moitié en vrac c'est pas évident de déterminer si le problème arrive à cause de ça ou non, d'où le nettoyage pour partir sur une base saine.

Tu peux relancer la commande sans la simu :

Supprime ensuite les dépendances inutiles :

sudo apt-get autoremove --purge

Et là, on va voir plus en détail Nemo. D'abord, les paquets installés :

dpkg -l | grep nemo

Ensuite, que se passe-t-il si tu le lances depuis un terminal ?

nemo

(Je suppose que la commande est nemo ; si ce n'est pas le cas, on regardera dans son lanceur.)

effectivement , avec un ordi plus clean j'imagine que c'est plus simple smile

Bon pour le retour du lancement de nemo via le terminal c'est
"Could not register nemo as a remote: Le délai d’attente est dépassé"... un début de piste semblerait t'il... ?!

Pour ce qui est du message d'erreur, je ne trouve pas grand chose de très pertinent, d'autant qu'ils concernent l'utilisation de Nemo avec Cinnamon. La seule piste un peu sérieuse que j'ai trouvée a un rapport avec des plugins de cloud mais pour voir si ça a un rapport, il faudrait la liste des paquets Nemo installés (le retour de la commande dpkg).

En vérifiant avec dpkg j'avais bien des paquets liés à nextcloud...

Du coup j'ai remove nemo, puis re-installer et ça fonctionne smile

En l'occurrence, dans ce que j'avais trouvé, c'était vraiment des plugins pour Nemo − du style nemo-megasync ou nemo-dropbox − qui posaient apparemment problème.

Là, tu as supprimé des paquets de NextCloud ou tu as juste supprimé/réinstallé le paquet nemo ?

En ce qui concerne le nettoyage, il y aurait une dernière étape à voir, c'est les noyaux :

dpkg -l | grep linux-
