[résolu] Passage de la version ubuntu 16.04 LTS à la version 20.04 LTS

Bonjour,
je tente de passer de la version ubuntu 16.04 LTS à la version ubuntu 20.04 LTS, mais quand je passe par le gestionnaire de mise à jour, seule le version 18.04 est proposée, et quand je rentre mon mot de passe demandé pour faire la mise à niveau, le gestionnaire de mise à jour se ferme.
Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ? merci !

Avec le gestionnaire de mises à jour, tu ne peux passer que d'une version à la suivante (par exemple 16.04 → 16.10, 16.10 → 17.04...) ou d'une LTS à la suivante (16.04 → 18.04, 18.04 → 20.04) mais pas sauter une version.
Techniquement, c'est possible de remplacer les branches des dépôts pour zapper des versions intermédiaires mais c'est risqué, il y a des chances que ça se passe mal, surtout si le système n'est pas parfaitement propre à la base.

Néanmoins, le gestionnaire de mises à jour qui se ferme (pour le passage en 18.04), ce n'est pas normal, il faudrait voir ce que ça donne en ligne de commande :

sudo do-release-upgrade

C'est fort probable que ce soit un peu le bazar dans les dépôts tiers/paquets orphelins, donc tu peux aussi donner le retour des commandes suivantes pour anticiper ça :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
ls /etc/apt/sources.list.d
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*.list
apt list | grep "installé, local"

Le sources.list est ok. Au niveau des dépôts tiers, tu as un PPA Clipgrab qui est inactif depuis ton passage en 16.04. Ça m'étonne que la dernière commande ne renvoie rien. Au cas où ton shell soit en anglais, relance-la comme ça :

apt list | grep "installed,local"

C'est possible que le PPA de LibreOffice bloque la mise à niveau (si les paquets qu'il propose sont organisés différemment de la version des dépôts Ubuntu). On va voir ça après.

EDIT : ah, je viens de remarquer qu'il y a un petit problème dans ton sources.list. Édite-le :

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

et supprime ces deux lignes tout à la fin :

deb http://archive.canonical.com/ xenial partner
# deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ trusty partner

Enregistre avec ctrl + O, valide le nom de fichier avec entrée et ferme l'éditeur Nano avec ctrl + X.

Je crois que j'arrive pas à supprimer les deux dernières lignes, car car quand je relance la commande sudo nano ..., ça les redonne à la fin :

Là, tu en as apparemment supprimé une, il faudrait supprimer celle qui reste, la toute dernière ligne du fichier. C'est normal qu'il y ait encore deux lignes partner un peu avant la fin, le problème c'est qu'il y en avait deux en plus avec une mauvaise syntaxe (et il en reste encore une, donc).

Si c'est l'enregistrement qui te pose problème, quand tu appuies sur ctrl + O, il va aussitôt te demander le nom de fichier à enregistrer (qui sera pré-rempli sur "/etc/apt/sources.list"), qu'il faut valider avec entrée. Puis ctrl + X permet de fermer Nano. Assure-toi de bien valider le nom, pas d'appuyer directement sur ctrl + X après avoir fait ctrl + O, par exemple.

Bonjour,

Là, dans tes messages 5 et 7, ce ne sont pas des retours de commandes, c'est juste ce qui est affiché dans nano (l'éditeur de texte, avec son menu en bas).

Dans chaque cas, il aurait fallu enregistrer le fichier avec ctrl-o et Entrée, et quitter l'éditeur avec ctrl-x.

Cette fois, ça a l'air ok pour le sources.list. Tu pourrais éventuellement supprimer la première ligne du CD Trusty (14.04) pour que ce soit plus propre mais elle est commentée, donc ce n'est pas très grave, elle n'est pas utilisée.

Donne aussi le retour de la dernière commande modifiée (au cas où ton shell soit en anglais) :

apt list | grep "installed,local"

Le PPA de Clipgrab, ça te dit quelque chose ? C'est un soft que tu utilises (en supposant qu'il est encore installé) ?

J'ai supprimé la ligne du CD Trusty.
Clipgrab ne me sert plus depuis un bout de temps, je crois qu'il ne fonctionne plus. Est-ce que je supprime les lignes de clipgrab ?

Euh, tu as reposté le contenu du sources.list plutôt que le retour de la commande apt.

Ne touche pas au fichier clipgrab pour le moment, je voudrais avoir le retour de la commande apt avant.

Oui c'est équivalent, sauf que la commande proposée par @nany au #16 est bilingue, et fonctionnera autant sur un système en langue anglaise ou française.
