Si je regarde le bug du dernier boot, il  semble qu'un cas ressemblant est connu depuis 18 mois (réponse 38)

Pour ne pas remonter trop dans le passé

J'ai regardé les posts, :
- pour le 1er (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205229) : ça se termine par une réinstallation de Windows et un détournement de Linux...
- pour le 2ème (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1894881) : peut-être installer 5.4.0-48-generic. Je ne l'ai pas vraiment trouvée et c'est un peu sensible, as-tu la commande pour installer cette version que je teste ?

Tu devrais regarder quelle version tu utilises actuellement.

 uname -a

Normalement tu devrais découvrir que tu as maintenant la version  "5.8.0-50-generic " qui est plus récente, si ce n'est le cas, fais ces commandes

sudo apt autoremove --purge
sudo apt update
sudo apt full-ugrade

J'étais en 5.8.0.48 et je ne pouvais tout simplement pas me connecter !
J'ai fait la commande (indiquée dans ce post : https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.p … p22413714)

sudo apt install --install-recommends linux-generic

Dans ce post (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1894881), ils indiquent de mettre la version 5.4.0.48 (oui, la 5.4). Penses-tu que c'est une option ou est-ce mieux de passer à la 5.8.0.50 ?

Et c'était beaucoup mieux, même s'il reste des problèmes (veille, figement lors d'une vidéo-projection). Sauf que maintenant mon écran se fige sans raison aussi !

J'ai fait tourner les commandes indiquées. Je suis resté en 5.4.0-70-generic.
Je mets tout en bas mes logs d'erreurs récents.

Bonjour,
je crains que le problème final provient du pilote graphique. J'ai eu les mêmes déboires en passant à la 20.04.2 (freeze, ralentissements,blocages complets juste en ouvrant une troisième fenêtre...) J'ai aussi cherché des solutions, ai installé le noyau inférieurs mais plus stable (5.4.0-77) en enlevant HWE et stacks. Cela a bien amélioré le fonctionnement de la machine, mais il persistaient encore quelques rares blocages mal venus forcément. Puis je suis revenu à une idée de départ : le pilote graphique est-il adapté ? J'ai une vieille Nvidia (GeForce GTX550 Ti) drivée sur les dernières versions par un pilote libre, intéressant, performant, mais devant la multitude de cartes graphiques des plus anciennes aux plus récentes, ce courageux pilote n'est pas forcément adapté (mais j'encourage les développeurs à continuer sur ce chemin). Du coup j'ai cherché un vieux pilote Nvidia (390.143) qui marche parfaitement, sans permettre l'ultime résolution du pilote libre, mais d'une stabilité remarquable (plus aucun blocage, freeze, ni tearing vidéo !) . Vous tournez sous Intel qui ne publie plus de pilote graphique pour Linux (raison commerciale probablement)  j'avais le même problème sur un autre poste en 18.04.4 tournant sur un Shuttle I7 avec un chipset graphique Intel que je n'ai pu mettre à jour, mais en réduisant légèrement la résolution, il n'y a plus de blocage non plus, sauf en ce moment un problème de chaleur qui bloque la machine quand elle tourne trop (recherches sur 5-6 fenêtres sur 2 écrans) d'où plusieurs ventilateurs qui tournent autour, à cause de la canicule dans notre région et le Shuttle n'étant pas suffisamment refroidi par ses 2 petits fans. Essayez de diminuer la résolution, surveiller la T° par un applet pour voir si cela s'arrange un peu; après on cherchera un pilote qui devrait s'adapter, "il y a toujours des solutions, sinon il n'y a pas de problème"

Merci beaucoup pour votre retour.
J'ai installé les moniteurs pour les températures.
J'ai tenté de réduire la résolution de 1920*1080 à 1600*900, l'écran a figé. Et ça fait une perte importante de résolution !

J'ai lu de tester la version 5.4.0.48 du kernel, savez-vous comment l'installer ? Dégrader la version depuis la 5.8.43 que j'avais a sensiblement amélioré le problème quand même !
